The Batwolf is a one-piece shield with a deep notch cut into the bridge, so the lens reads as a single sweep across the face rather than two separate lenses. The frame wraps hard at the sides and the temples sit wide, which is why it has stayed a fixture in Oakley’s lifestyle range rather than a sport-only frame. This is polished black with Prizm Sapphire lenses, a bright blue mirror that shifts to jade green through the middle and violet at the outer corners. Prizm works on contrast underneath the mirror, so the colour is not just a finish. The frame is O Matter, Oakley’s own frame material, in a high-gloss black, with the Oakley icon set into each temple in blue to pick up the lens.
