The Hakama Shorts V2 in Olive Ripstop bring a military note to Checks Downtown’s signature pleated silhouette. The lightweight cotton ripstop has a fine grid texture and a dry, crisp hand that holds the wide shape without adding weight. Deep pleats fall from the waist into a generous three-quarter leg that finishes just below the knee. An elasticated back waistband with belt loops and a button fly at the front keep the fit clean and easy, while side pockets and two buttoned flap pockets at the back handle the practical side. Olive works with almost everything: white tees and cream knits in summer, darker layers and boots later on. A relaxed, considered short that earns its place all year.
