Description

Gold frame, green lens, teardrop shape. This is the Aviator in the combination it was sold in from the start, after Ray-Ban built it in 1937 to a US Army Air Corps brief for a lens pilots could trust against glare at altitude. The frame is arista gold, a bright warm yellow gold running through the wire rims, the double bridge and the temples. The temple tips and the adjustable nose pads are both clear, so there is no black on it anywhere. The lenses are G-15 green, the classic Ray-Ban tint. Dark enough to read close to black from the outside while staying neutral to look through, so colours hold their proper shape instead of going warm or washing out. This one is the 58mm. Fit Style code RB3025 L0205 58 Teardrop aviator frame with a double bridge Lens width 58mm Adjustable nose pads Fabrication Metal frame G-15 green lenses 100% UV protection
