Gramicci Pant Straight Fit – Nirvana

The Straight Fit takes the original Gramicci pant and opens up the leg. Same rise, same build, but it runs straight from the knee instead of tapering, and the hem sits about an inch and a half wider. Everything else is the original: diamond crotch gusset, the nylon webbing belt built into an elastic waistband, hard-wearing cotton twill with reinforced lock-stitching. The straight line makes it easier to wear over a boot or a chunkier trainer, and it sits about 3cm shorter in the leg. Nirvana is a dusty lilac, greyed-off rather than bright. It behaves like a neutral once it is on, which makes it an easy way into colour. The version to reach for if the original sits too narrow at the ankle.
