Description

The Wayfarer arrived in 1952 and the RB2140 is the one that kept the original proportions: the canted browline, the sharp outside corners, the wide temples tapering to a point. Gloss black acetate with silver rivets at the hinge. Green lenses, not polarised. Green is the tint the Wayfarer started on, dark enough for full sun and neutral enough that colours read close to true rather than shifted warm or cool. The colour code is 1358/31, worth quoting if you are comparing it against the other black Wayfarers, including the polarised 901/58 that runs the same green.
